20 Things You Should Never do on a Date

(For Women)

1) DON’T ACT NEEDY
Never act needy, guys usually like independent women, and if you are too dependent on him, he will start taking you for granted and will eventually lose interest in you.

2) DON’T BE NEGATIVE
Don’t say negative stuff in front of him. The more negative you are, the less likely that he will think you will bring some sunshine into his life. Always have a positive outlook on life. He is dating you because he thinks you are going to bring some happiness into his life.

3) DON’T COMPLAIN
Do not complain about your friends, your family or your job. And do not criticize other girls. It isn’t an attractive quality. Even if he has taken you to a restaurant you don’t like, do not roll your eyes at him. Appreciate the effort.

4) DON’T POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA
You must keep your love life private. At least give it some months before you update your status. It puts too much pressure on your relationship.

5) DON’T REVEAL EVERYTHING
Avoid going too deep into personal details, unless he asks you to elaborate, and never answer in a monotone ( yeah, ok, sure …), speak in whole sentences. Please never talk about your weight and other personal stuff. It is a conversation to be had with your best friends
And one more advice, please don’t talk about religion, politics and sex. Please don’t. It will destroy your date faster than katrina blowing through the countryside.

6) DON’T ASK ABOUT THE NEXT DATE
Asking about the next date is a sign of desperation. If the date goes well, he will definitely call you.

7) DON’T CALL HIM FIRST
Try not to call him first. By doing that, you are making it very obvious that you are crazy about him, and once you do that, there won’t be any suspense and he will start treating you like a pushover. And do not text or call too much before the date. Even if you want, call once, after 24 hours.

8) DON’T JUDGE
Avoid judging him before the first date. Do not listen to rumors from your friends, and never jump to conclusions. And never have high expectations, you will always end up getting disappointed.

9) DON’T COMPARE
Do not compare him to your exes, and never speak about ex boyfriends in front of him. You have to avoid topics about exes at all costs or he will think that you are still hung up on the past.

10) DON’T BE LATE
Be on time, at least on the first date. It will give a good first impression.

11) DON’T OVEREAT
Keep it light. Do not eat too much. Even if you are a food lover, it is not a good sign to eat too much in front of your date.

12) DON’T BE OVEREXCITED
It is natural to be excited, but don’t cross the limit and do something foolish. Be cool and don’t try to fake anything.

13) DON’T BE IN A HURRY
Do not make quick decisions, especially your first time. Take your time and put a lot of thought before taking quick decisions. Anything done in a hurry will end badly.

14) DON’T OBSESS OVER YOUR APPEARANCE
If you have to obsess over your appearance, do it before the date. Do not waste your time running to the bathroom every five minutes to check in the mirror. Concentrate on making good conversation instead.

15) DON’T USE YOUR PHONE
If you have your eyes on you phone while speaking, you might as well save some time by going home. It is a definite deal breaker, and never snap candid selfies on your first date, it is weird.

16) DON’T STALK YOUR DATE ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Do not go like his pictures on facebook on the first date itself, it is clingy. Even if you want to send a friends request, send it after a couple of dates.

17) DON’T CROSS YOUR ARMS
Crossing your arms gives a bad impression, it gives him the idea that you are not interested in him and want the date to end.

18) DON’T BRAG
Do not brag about your achievements, even if you want to, do it in a modest way, it is always better to let him ask first.

19) DON’T CALL TOO MUCH
If you keep calling him again and again, he will feel smothered and will start losing interest. Give him some space. Call him once in two days. Do not call just to check on him.

20) DON’T BE RUDE
Never be rude to people, especially not in front of him. He will be watching and will surely notice. Be polite to the waiter or to the cabby or anyone you talk to. Bitchiness is a least attractive quality. Trust me.
